Back in the day,
kids weren’t board AND tired and they sure weren’t OVERWEIGHT!.. Give the kids
some stuff to do and then make them realize there is more to life than GAMING!

let’s stop letting the TELEVISION, RAPERS
WITH THREE CHAINS AND THE VIDEO GAME PRODUCERS OWN OUR CHILDREN’S
BRAINS!
Here are GRANDMA’S RULES FOR A PRODUCTIVE SUMMER:
You, MOM & DAD,
UNPLUG the ELECTRONICS and Plaster these rules on the wall in your children’s
room so when they open their eyes they know where to
start!

GET YOUR DAY STARTED
BY:
- THANKING GOD FOR ALLOWING YOU TO WAKE UP THIS
MORNING?
- MAKE YOUR BED AND SHOW YOUR SMALLER SIBLING HOW TO MAKE
THEIRS AND CLEAN UP THAT BEDROOM!
- WASH YOUR FACE & YOUR BODY
- BRUSH YOUR TEETH
- BRUSH YOUR HAIR
- GET DRESSED
- EAT A HEALTHY BREAKFAST
BRAIN STIMULATION FIRST!!
- 30 MINUTES READING
- Kids 10 and under 20 MINUTES WRITING/COLORING
- NOW! EVERYBODY GO OUTSIDE AND GET DIRTY!!!
- RIDE A BIKE OR A SKATEBOARD – Wear a Helmet
PLEASE!
- PLAY BASKETBALL Play BASEBALL
- GO HIKING
- TAKE THE TRASH OUT FOR THE SENIOR CITIZEN NEIGHBOR AND TAKE IT OUT AT YOUR OWN HOUSE
- ASK A NEIGHBOR IF THEY NEED THEIR LAWN WATERED?
ITS EVENING TIME NOW
SO SIT DOWN WITH YOUR MOM AND DAD AND FIND OUT WHAT KIND OF DAY THEY HAD AND
TELL THEM HOW FILLED YOUR’S WAS!
Just remember that
some of our best memories made come from great summers filled with wholesome
activities.
Let’s teach our kids
to appreciate family, friends and good neighbors and Let them know that FUN and WORK each have their
place and if WE
teach them to
balance the two…….HEY!
